Why can't women go to cremation ground?
Samsha Ghat is a place where the funeral of a dead man is
also performed. The tombs of each are built on the banks of the river. Cemetery
fire is often considered bad. According to ancient times, there are 3 types of
fire. And the fire of the chita is different. There is no sacred and demanding
function in the crematorium. Lord Shiva is meditating on the cremation ground.
According to the scriptures, the crematorium should be as
far away from the city, so that the unholy dust and negative energy cannot come
into the house. The cemetery is believed to contain ghosts and ghosts of
ghosts. That is why night cremation should never pass through the ghat. It is
also believed that no one should ever walk around the cemetery until the sun
rises when the moon appears in the sky. According to Hindu scriptures, it is
not fitting for a person to go to the cremation ground at any time of day
without cause.
So let's find out why young women are not allowed to go to
crematoriums: In Hindu religion and belief, only men can go to certain places,
or only men can do some work. Women are forbidden to participate in these
works. As we know, in Hinduism, only feminine men grow. Women cannot boil
coconut. Similarly, when people go to the crematorium to perform the funeral,
only men can go.
We often wonder why this is the case, that young women are
not allowed to go to the crematorium. There is a lot of truth behind it. But
they are only supposed to be, but today we will tell you about the facts. Which
has been practiced for centuries, not today. So let's know why young women are
not allowed to go to crematoriums.
Important reasons for women not to go to crematoriums:
1. When people of Hinduism attend someone's funeral, or
participate in it, they also have to shave their heads accordingly. And we know
very well that no one is allowed to shave their hair
2. A girl's heart is more tender and soft than a man's
heart. That's why the woman can't see anyone's misery. If someone cries over
the crematorium, the soul of the person who is cremated is not at peace. Women
do not look like someone is burning and they cry. Because it can be a daunting
task to see a man hurt.
3. Young women are not allowed to go to the crematoriums, as
the hearts of the girls are very soft. And after death, the man was burned on
the leopard and scared somewhere. Then it will be a very big problem for them.
That is why they are not allowed to go to the crematorium.
4. One of the most important reasons for women not to go to
the crematorium is that when the cremation of a dead man is performed in the
crematorium, it is very necessary for the young women to stay in the house to
wash and bathe the men. So that men are not allowed to touch anything in the
house. And without touching, they get water and so on. So that he may not.
A shmashāna or smashan is a Hindu cremation ground, where
dead bodies are brought to be burnt on a pyre. It is usually located near a
river or body of water on the outskirts of village or town; as they are usually
located near river ghats they are also called smashan ghat.
The word has its origin from Sanskrit language: shma refers
to shava corpse while shana refers to shanya bed. The other Indian religions
like Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism also use shmashana for the last rites of the
dead.

site of shmashana: it should be on northern direction of village with land
sloping towards south, and it should be near a river or a source of water and
should not be visible from a distance.
